[Pluto-help] Database in memoria RAM

Ciao a tutti,
	     vi chiedo se qualcuno ha suggerimenti o esperienza sul seguente
argomento.

Sto cercando un database da installare sotto Linux che però non risieda su
HD ma in RAM. Certo è un DB un pò strano perchè i dati presenti in esso non
vengono salvati o registrati. Ma ciò che importa è la possibilità di
definire con appositi tool la lista con nome e il tipo dei dati da inserire
nel DB, eseguire l'unione o l'itersezione di due differenti liste di
variabili ecc...
Inoltre occorre una libreria di funzioni per accedere al DB (r/w) da un
qualunque processo. Il fatto che il DB sia in RAM permette di avere un
accesso ai dati estremamente veloce.
So che questo risultato si può ottenere con un approccio tipo allocazione di
memoria condivisa, ma se ci fosse uno strumento già pronto.....
