[Pluto-help] pppd non parte

Anch' io ho gli stessi problemi con pppd, con un kernel 2.4.1 e Mandrake 7.2. Inoltre mi dā questo messaggio:
Feb 12 21:42:53 localhost pppd[1260]: The remote system is required to authenticate itself
Feb 12 21:42:53 localhost pppd[1260]: but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to use to do so.
Feb 12 21:42:53 localhost pppd[1260]: (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP address.)
e sulla shell:
Couldn't find interface ppp0= <null>
Che fare?
(premetto che ho giā apportato le modifiche contenute in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes)
