Premetto di avere installato redhat 7 su HD insieme a Window ME ,il PC è un pentuim 3 ,il modem è un 3com U.S. robotics 56k fak esterno connesso alla porta ttyS0.
Avendo configurato la connessione tramite Kppp con le modalità previste alla pagina web http://assistenza.tiscalinet.it/linux_conf/kppp/index.html                                                .
Riscontro quanto segue:
Il numero viene composto regolarmente e la connessione viene stabilita tuttavia subito dopo appare il messaggio the pppd daemon died unespectedly.
Per una maggiore comprensione allego anche il log e preciso di connettermi al pop di Signa Tiscalinet 0557740000.

Chiedo gentilmente la vostra collaborazione.
