[Pluto-help] audio su kde

Ciao a tutti questo e' il mio problema:
quando lancio kde con un utente che non sia root non riesco a sentire l'audio. 
Se pero' mi loggo prima con l'utente root e dopo mi loggo di nuovo con un 
altro utente questa volta riesco a sentire l'audio anche con il nuovo utente. 
Sembrerebbe che l'utente 
root riesca ad avviare qualche servizio che gli altri utenti si ritrovano in 
eredita' nel momento in cui si loggano dopo root. 
Se provo a digitare: 
$ cat /dev/sndstat
la risposta e':
cat: /dev/sndstat: No such device
Questo e' il log che tiro fuori con dmesg
