il comando è giusto, verifica che il modulo venga caricato, ma l'errore 
che ottieni non mi pare indichi la mancanza del supporto,
piuttosto l'impossibilità a scrivere sul disco e a montarlo..

verifica magari, (se li hai installati) con hsfutils che il floppy sia 
leggibile nel tuo lettore

hmount per montare,
hdir per leggere
ecc..

se usi molto spesso dischi hfs puoi anche provare 
 xhfs, è carino
