Interessante, probabilmente hai ragione tu a dire che non sono caricati i moduli,
infatti usbview mi dà il seguente errore: 

Can not open the file /proc/bus/usb/ devices

Verify that you have USB compiled into your kernel,
have the USB core modules loaded, and have the usbdevfs
mounted.


ammetto di non essere un esperto, ma mi sembra che i moduli nel kernel ci siano...
non so se sono caricati però, io davo per scontato che lo fossero...
come e quali devo caricare?



cosa significa "usbdevfs mounted"? Devo montare la stampante come faccio con i 
dischi fissi?
