[PLUTO-help] DHCP sul DLink DSL300T

Buonasera a tutti.
Qualcuno ha esperienza con il modem DSL-300T della DLink?

Ho da poco cambiato contratto ADSL e sono passato ad un contratto flat. Così 
ho modificato la configurazione del modem:
* prima il modem funzionava in modo "bridged" e mi collegavo con pppoe
* ora ho configurato il modem per collegarsi all'avvio e attivato il server 
DHCP sul DSL-300T e configuro eth0 con DHCP.

Precisamente mi sono collegato a 192.168.1.1 e, dopo essermi autenticato, ho 
modificato la configurazione della connessione (utente, pwd, etc) e poi 
cliccato su "enable DHCP server" e lasciato le impostazioni di default 
(StartIP=192.168.1.2, EndIP=192.168.1.254,primary DNS=192.168.1.1, lease time 
60 sec). Ho salvato la configurazione e fatto un reboot del modem.

Ora il modem si connette, ma la porta eth0 riceve dal DHCP del modem un 
indirizzo 93.147.151.*, che è quello che a sua volta il modem riceve dalla 
connessione pppoa e non, come mi aspettavo, un 192.168.1.*. 
Il problema è che l'indirizzo 93.147.151.* del modem continua a cambiare 
(circa ogni due minuti!) e la mia connessione funziona saltuariamente. Non ho 
capito bene perchè ma immagino che ogni volta che cambia l'indirizzo del 
modem devo attendere che si riconfiguri la porta o magari anche il firewall 
non è felice dei continui cambiamenti: talvolta riavviare 
arno-iptables-firewall ripristina la connessione

Mi sembra anche di aver letto (ma non lo ritrovo più, sigh!) che se spegnessi 
il server DHCP sul modem, allora la porta eth del modem avrebbe l'indirizzo 
192.168.1.2 e potrei configurarla come "inet static". A me andrebbe benissimo 
perchè di fatto ho un solo PC collegato direttamente al modem. Però non 
funziona...

Qualcuno ha qualche idea?
