[Pluto-help] Installazione linux Mandrake 8.0 su Notebook

Allora.

Per prima cosa devi installare (da konsole,ovviamente) i driver frame 
buffer che trovi nei cd con il nome di FBDev-3.3.6-35.i386.rpm (o qualcosa 
di simile...) con

 >rpm -ihv rpmfile.

Poi setta correttamente il link ai driver con:

 >cd /etc/X11

 >ls -l X

 >rm X

  >ln -s ../../usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_FBDev X

Poi devi inserire il giusto file XF86Config (che ti allego ...magari dagli 
una letta..) in /etc/X11.

Infine aggiungi in /etc/lilo.conf  (ti allego un file lilo.conf ad esempio...):

vga=0x317    #prima di "image=/boot/vmlinuz........

append="video=atyfb:1024x768,font=sun12x22"  #alla fine dell'image

dai >lilo
