[PLUTO-help] ADSL Libero con modem D-Link DSL 200

Salve a tutti,
Questa è la prima volta che provo a configurare un ADSL........
mi è arivato il modem ADSL di libero il modello e un D-Link DSL 200 su
USB.Ho cercato un driver per linux e ho trovato forse di meglio.. Un
programmino  eciadsl-usermode-0.7 di cui ci sono i sorgenti che ho
cmpilato e installato. Tuttavia con startmodem non riesco mai a
collegarmi. Mi da errori vari dalla sincronizzazione al timeout Per
sicurezza ho anche aggiornato il kernel alla versione 2.4.20 e scaricato
i file bin  per la sincronizzazione ma non ho risolto proprio nulla.
Qualcuno è riuscito a configurare questo modem ..
Il Linux in uso è RH8.a kernel 2.4.20 e mi trovo a Torino
