[PLUTO-help] probelma konsole

Salve a tutti, ho il seguente problema:
devo collegarmi via ssh ad un computer della mia rete dove devo lanciare 
il client del sistema gestionale,
se accedo da console di login e prima di lanciare ssh carico la 
mappatura della tastiera apposita è
tutto ok, mentre se accedo da konsole di kde la mappatura dei tasti 
(tramite loadkeys) non funziona
e anche se faccio partire konsole con l'opzione --tn linux una volta 
collegato tramite ssh mi il comando
echo $TERM mi dà ancora xterm. Il mio SO è debian woody.
Qualcuno mi può aiutare?
