[PLUTO-help] Non è possibile contattare il server CUPS

Ciao,
ho un problema con cups su una Ubuntu 5.04. A spiegarlo a parole vi
direvi solo che non riesco a stampare, anche se all'avvio sembra che
tutti i servizi partano come dovrebbero, così ho pensato di riportare
qualche messaggio dalla shell:

$ lpr file.txt
lpr: error - scheduler not responding!

$ lpstat
lpstat: Unable to connect to server: Network is unreachable

$ cupsenable

$ lpstat
lpstat: Unable to connect to server: Network is unreachable

$ less /var/log/cups/error_log
