[PLUTO-help] Samba su Debian lenny, con account nobody non accede alla condivisione ... come mai?

Salve ragazzi, volevo esporvi il mio problema, è da tempo che cerco una 
soluzione solo ora mi sono deciso ad interpellarvi.
3 mesi fa circa sono passato da gentoo a debian, tutto fila liscio, ma 
ho qualche problema con samba e una condivisione pubblica.
Vi do qualche dato tanto per farvi capire meglio il problema, si tratta 
di una workstation casalinga in cui voglio che una cartella chiamata 
"public" sia visibile, navigabile, leggibile e scrivibile dal mondo 
intero...o meglio da tutti i pc della mia lan casalinga...quindi niente 
  configurazioni trascendentali LDAP o cose simili...solo una semplice 
share...quindi il mio obbiettivo è cercare di usare l'asccount nobody 
come account guest...
Cosa capita...succede che la mia configurazione funziona solo se ho più 
di una cartella pubblicata...mentre invece se ho solo public mi da un 
connection refused
la versione di samba è: 2:3.2.3-3

Non riesco a capire perchè semplicemente ripulendola delle condivisioni
