    C-mos> Salve a tutti, io ho terminato di tradurre da un pò il
    C-mos> C++Programming-HOWTO ed il Process-Monitor-HOWTO, ma fino
    C-mos> ad ora non sono riuscito a scriverli sul server

    C-mos> ftp.  Ho notato, cmq, che per due volte mi da il seguente
    C-mos> errore in fase di caricamento del processo ftp: 504 FTP:
    C-mos> command not recognised.  magari può essere questa la causa?
    C-mos> ma non riesco a capire che tipo di errore di tratti.

Che client ftp utilizzi ? (reinstallare la distribuzione non serve
quasi mai a niente, se non ad aggiornarla se non usi debian :))
