hi!
from the logs above, the problem seems to be "fam related". Quoting from the 
man page: 
"fam is a server that tracks changes to the filesystem and relays these 
changes to interested applications"
I can figure out that, probably, you have a 13Gb's file, and FAM is trying to 
report it out to the relevant app. Could you searc your file system, looking 
for an abnormally big file?
